This one was fun as I was also able to be the audio engineer for the vocal recording as well as the editor for this mini-doc. One of the hurdles was getting interviews with all of the necessary parties with such restricted regional access. We solved this by screen recording 2 if the interviews through Discord and having them lean their cell phones against something for a B cam and just telling them "make sure you're in frame". That of course gave some challenges with varying frame rates and resolutions. But I feel this actually added to the piece. Piecing the story together from 5 different hour+ interviews was fun and reminded me of the ole ENG days crafting magazine style videos. Hit me up and comment and with any Qs! THX!
